I wanted to take the time to show you how to build lean muscle mass. There is a lot of people out there that have attempted to put on a lot of muscle, only to find themselves putting on a lot of fat too. This is one of those realities you can't escape, but when I say that, I'm talking about slight fat gains. People assume since they're putting on muscle, they can eat as much as they want, but this is untrue. You have to stay very close to what your body burns or you're going to put on far too much. I'm going to show you exactly what you need to do to put on lean muscle mass without the fat.The diet is the most important part of putting on muscle in this case and also avoid the fat. You're in a catch 22 though. You have to eat more than your body needs to make sure you get maximum growth, but eating more than you need gives you fat. When you get down to the technical, you can eat 1 calorie more than your maintenance and you're in the ideal state. Rarely can you achieve that, so I tell people to aim for 300 calories.
The gym is also an important part, but when it comes to your calories, you're given an advantage. At the point that you decide to put on more muscle, you're eating more. These extra calories allow you to expend much more energy in the gym. This is a big thing. You have to workout as hard as you can. This makes the process that much better for avoiding the fat.
