  • Post summer advices to keep your summer glow
    By: JEFF HARDENSEN

In the summer season your skin is exposed to the sun and chlorine water which cause dryness. A little post summer advices will help you to keep your summer glow. The first thing to do is to continue with the use of sunscreen. That way you protect your skin of the UV rays.
It is important to exfoliate your skin to remove dead cells. After the summer season your skin is dry yet because of the exposure to the sun. So hydratate your skin with masks and lotions so that your skin keep its smoothness. To increase the effect of the masks, treat your face to a steam bath twice a week. The steam bath will open the pores and clean them. While doing this, cover your face with a towel to keep the steam in.
Use a moisturizer to protect your skin from the cold windy weather. Choose a moisturizer containing essential oils.
Do not forget to drink a lot of water. Also use a hat to protect your face from the UV rays and to keep your head warm.
First of all, keeping your summer glow in the cold months it is not that easy. But it is possible and you can make your friends being jealous of your look. One of the products which you can use are the sunless-tanning sprays, lotions, wipes etc. First, exfoliate your skin and then apply over the desired places of your body. After applying, do not forget to wash your hands carefully. Use the right tone and be very careful with the choice of tanning spray. Do not shave within 36 hours after applying. Spots can appear. Do not use too much tanning lotion- it will create streaks. Apply the lotion from the feet upwards. If you put too much lotion, you can remove it with a lemon juice . Remember- apply slow and carefully. Use the lotion twice a week so that it can have a more lasting effect.
Apply a face brightener or bronzing gel so that your glow look natural. Both deliver an instant glow. Apply with your fingertips the area around the eyes, then apply over your nose, cheeks and forehead.
Another product you can use is the powder bronzer. It is long-wearing. Apply with a blush brush all over your face.
When you are going out, use eye shadows in sand and gold tones. This way you put an accent on your bronzed lids.
