  • Ways to Jump Higher

    There are many ways to jump higher, but most people don't have the slightest clue on how to do them properly. The most important sport for jumping is basketball. The ability to jump higher gives you a significant advantage over your opponents. Not only does it give you the ability to dunk the ball, but it also allows you to be a better defensive player, a much better shooter and a better rebounder. With these methods, you should be able to bring your game to the next level. I'll show you exactly what you're going to need to do to be successful.

    You really need to train your muscles, in the same way you jump. If you mimic the aspects of jumping, with weight added, your muscles will grow stronger and be able to push you much further into the air.

    Jump rope is an amazing way to jump higher. Most people don't understand how great it is because it's just so simple. When you do jump rope, you're always on the tips of your toes. It's that springy position people get in right before they jump. This helps strengthen the right muscles for jumping, so this will make you a far better jumper than you are now.

    Another exercise that I like to do is the weight calf raises. All you have to do is find a smith machine. This is a machine that has the barbell locked into position, so that it can only move up or down. All you do is rest it on the back/shoulder area, like you were doing a squat and have a block of wood on the ground to put the tips of your toes on. All you do is move your feet to the tips of your toes position. Add as much weight as necessary.
