  • Why Losing Weight Fast is Bad!
    By: LOI BOON CHEN

You are desperate to lose weight fast, and are finding all sorts of losing weight fast formula in the market that promise you results in 7 days. After you have tried, you will most probably experience any of the following outcomes:

    1. lose weight in a week as promised. But you realise you need to consume it non-stop to maintain the results. After you have stopped, chances are, the weights will come back.

    2. See no results, or very minimal results. Broken promises.

    3. Experience yo-yo effect, means gaining the weight as fast as you lose it, resulting in a back and forth weight gain unhealthy pattern.

    4. Most importantly, you are only seeing numbers, etc lose weights, but no improvement to your healths.

Type "losing weight fast" into the internet search engines and you'll see thousands of get-thin-quick schemes, but the very truths are, they are all going to backfire. Any diet be it fruits diet, veg diet, chocolate diet etc can reduce your weight fast but you also going to put back the pounds fast if you are making changes that you cant sustain, ie continuing with the diet (isnt it boring to eat the same thing again and again?). Further, much of the weight lose right away is water, not fat which is bad as at the end of the day, the ultimate aim of weight lose is to lose fats.

Repeated use of yo-yo dieting may make it even harder to lose weight as it tends to deplete your muscle (lean tissue) and when your weight is regained but muscles are not (unless you exercise) after you stop the diet, your metabolism rate is going to reduce over time as muscle is metabolically active than fat. Severe crash dieting will also deplete more muscle than slow dieting. I will eloberate more on the truths of such diets at http://www.FatsandBelly.com

Losing weight fast also isnt going to do good to your health as it can compromise your intake of important nutrients and may leave you weak and dehydrated. Diets that leave you feeling weak are definitely a big no-no as our common sense tell.

So do not aim for losing weight fast or lose 5kg in a week. It will be far more healthy to lose up to 0.5kg in a week to see long and steady weight lose that you can maintenance.
