  • Is it normal to have pimples on the penis?
    By: RAKI MORALES

It is alright and just to to be concerned when we get penis pimples but whatever you do, do not squeeze anything, don't make matter worse. Your hands can spread bacteria that might have caused the penis pimples in the first place. Wash yourself several times with Ph neutral soap. An ice pack will help in reducing swelling, pain and redness. I recommend you see a doctor or a dermatologist as soon as possible if you think your condition is not a simple matter of penis pimples,

Now on to the question, is Penis Pimples normal?

The answer to this question is yes and no. A penis pimple is in fact the result of blockage of the skin's pore and it can happen anywhere on the body: face, back, legs, even and elsewhere. Pimples is a common skin condition that effects the skin's oil glands. Oil glands are found in every hair follicle and when these becomes clogged, they can result to pimples breakout. Some kinds of these penis pimples or bumps are normal, they represent a very common condition but in some instances these bumps can be dangerous that needs immediate medical attention.

    What's normal and what isn't?

They look like pimples, these are small pearly penile papsules, and yes, do do look like pimples, but are actually not. They really are tiny glands. They are usually in the margins of the penis head and though not uncommon to have them at 40, they typically occur in the teenage years. Swelling of the skin called lymphocele that might appear after masturbation or sexual intercourse is also normal. They usually appear on the foreskin or in the shaft of the head. It's normal and goes away by itself without after-effects.

What's NOT normal is basically anything that wasn't mentioned previously. If it give you discomfort like itching, it's red or purple, it has pus, it stinks or it looks gross. Go see a doctor.

Teenagers are the ones usually bothered with penis or testicle pimples, but it is said that it is not uncommon for eight out of ten men to have penis pimples at some point in their lives. There is no need to worry as most of the time penis pimples go away as a person grows older or disappear in a matter of weeks if it occurred later in life.

But the thing is that most of the time they don't. It is not best to just sit it out and wait until it disappears. If they persist it is best to consult a doctor.
